Crafted from premium solid European fruitwood—showing the rich, flowing grain of wild cherry or walnut—it has aged into a gorgeous, luminous amber-honey patina that only comes with generations of history.

What makes this piece truly special is its double-sided design. The front offers a clean workspace with two deep drawers and elegant, tapered Louis XVI legs. Spin it around, and you’re greeted by a stunning architectural back featuring recessed panels and a wave-like scalloped apron. Because it is beautifully finished on all four sides, it was born to sit proudly in the center of a room—whether as a freestanding writing desk, a library table, or a statement piece in an entryway.

The closer you look, the more of its story unfolds. The two-plank top is locked together using traditional wooden pegs, and the surface is textured with genuine historic character—faint carpenter scribes, rustic surface dings, and authentic ink splatters from old quill pens. Complete with its original, rugged wrought-iron drop handles, it is a rock-solid, incredibly soulful piece ready for a modern home.

Dimensions: 163 cm (L) x 69 cm (W) x 72 cm (H)

Condition: good antique condition.
