Authentic C19th wine press pedestal.

Found in Normandy France, this unique pedestal is a beautiful piece of architectural history carved from solid oak.

The deep spiral column was originally a functioning giant screw from an authentic 19th-century wine press. It features some really striking hand-carved details, including an intricate patterned band right below the octagonal top and a textured, diamond-cut collar at the base.

It's a heavy, sculptural statement piece that works perfectly as a rustic stand for a plant, vase, or sculpture.
