C19th French Provincial Guéridon Side Table

Sourced from France, this exquisite 19th-century French Provincial Guéridon Side Table  brings authentic European romance and timeless sophistication to any space.

Measuring 65cm in diameter and 65cm in height, this fixed-top pedestal table beautifully captures the elegant transition between grand Louis XV Rococo style and rustic countryside living, making it the perfect companion next to an armchair, or styled as a parlor statement piece.

The central baluster pedestal features deeply carved floral motifs and acanthus leaf accents that transition into a sturdy tripod base with classic cabriole legs and delicate French scroll feet. Covered in a beautifully aged, matte off-white gesso finish, the heavily distressed and scraped surface exposes warm undertones for that coveted, genuine "shabby chic" character, while a rare, original curved iron support brace sits under the tabletop to keep the surface perfectly steady and wobble-free.
