French Gueridon table with black marble top C19th

Beautiful antique French gueridon from the Restauration period - late 18th century/early 19th century. This is a particularly fine example of this style of French table. Its original marble top is supported by a faceted central pillar that rests on a tripod base with three legs, which are decorated with large scrolls and stunning lion claw feet. The table has a dark flame mahogany veneer and a rich patina.
