Monumental Oil On Canvas in the style of the C18th decorated with gallant scenes

We just opened this amazing oil painting from the C18th from Normandie. Look at those deep earthy colours! This is a monumental piece measuring 270cm long for 198cm high, where separate pieces of linen have been stitched together. Depicting a pastoral, romantic scene set in the French Country side, this painting is a once in a lifetime find, and would bring so much texture and depth to a space.
