Bring the romantic warmth of the French Riviera into your home with this exquisite, original impressionist oil painting by French artist Lydie Granche. Painted in May 2004 in the picturesque coastal commune of La Londe (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur), this vibrant still life captures a fresh-cut bouquet of legendary Christophe Colomb roses. plaisir-jardin.com

Celebrated globally for their dramatic, oversized blooms, these specific hybrid tea roses boast an intense "Indian Orange" hue suffused with fiery piment-red edges. Granche captures their radiant energy using rich, textured brushstrokes, setting the striking orange- red flora against a contrasting sky-blue backdrop and an deep indigo vase.

The painting comes beautifully housed in its original, heavy ornate gilt-and-linen frame, making it a ready-to- display statement piece perfect for traditional, eclectic, or modern farmhouse interiors.
